You can organize many excursions at Il giardino di Alice B&B. Walks in the woods of the Motto Mirabello for the picking of mushrooms and chestnuts to roast then on the fire of the fireplace. Bicycle trips in the park of the Lagoni; not very distant from the chalet there is a pool for sport fishing, tennis courts, football grounds, riding schools and beaches for aquatics.

Motorbike trips on the roads of Alto Vergante and along the shores of the Lake Maggiore (Maybe Arona is the most frequented town by the motorcyclists). In few minutes, you can reach different destinations: Stresa and the Borromeo's isles; Angera and the famous Rocca; the top of the Mottarone (1700mt), from which you can admire 7 lakes, equipped with ski installations; Ascona and Locarno, pleasant Swiss small provincial towns; the lake of Orta, romantic destination, and the island of S.Giulio. In the place of Alpino, above Stresa, the botanical garden and the famous golfing green with 18 holes.

For the golf players there are other golf courses not very distant: Pian di Sole and Castel Conturbia. For the mountain-lovers there are Val Canobina, Valsesia and Val Vigezzo, also known as "valle dei pittori"(painters' valley).

You can reach different and pleasant destinations by boat: Cannero, with the ancient pirates' castles; the beaches of Feriolo with the typical canebrakes; the Natural Park of Locarno and the Eremo of S.Caterina del Sasso; the numerous beaches along all the lake Maggiore.
